I've been dying to share these for a while, so I'm happy to pay it, nothings too good for my loyal, but poor at commenting readership.
Now I'm sorry this post isn't very funny or long (may be a good thing) but it does have lots of pictures so hopefully that makes up for it!
These pics are of the places the bus stopped on the way to Toronto, and Toronto itself.. i have to say, Toronto isn't very snowy at all! so were praying for snow on Christmas, and if you believe the weather man (I've given up) we will see some!
here's something i was thinking about today
You Know your in Canada when:
All the puns involve Ice Hockey
The money has more colours than Green
People are polite and courteous
You feel safe
AND YOUR FREEZING COLD!!! which brings me to my next point,
You Know your cold when:
Your Brain is running out your nose and down your face and you don't even realise it (may also happen in New York City)
You loose all feeling in your hands one minuite after walking outside
Your wearing three shirts, a jumper and a coat, Thermal pants, Skinny Jeans, Long Socks, a Scarf, two beanies and shoes and your still freezing cold.
You cant talk because your face is so cold and numb
You see spilt coffee on the ground which has frozen to a brown ice puddle
Dogs are wearing stupid little jumpers and shoes
You think twice about going down the road to buy dinner - Which brings me to my next point
You Know your Hungry when:
You go outside into minus 6 degrees with windchill of about -12 to get something to eat - Which brings me to my next point
You Know your satisfied when:
you ate 3 kg of chinese food and have to lie down - Which brings me to my next point
You know your full when:
You have to lie down because you ate so much.
Im going to upload some pics of the Aircraft carrier i went on back in San Diego for you Dad.
Merry Christmas everyone!
I will most probably post again before our Christmas here now that i know i can and its free.
Love Michael.

Have you had pancakes yet with the REAL Canaduan Maple syrup? Cliched but ya gotta do it. Can you tell the difference between Canadian Vs American accents yet?
Ha ha ha, no nannee they havn't split, im just giving Canada a chance to get used to the black ones then i will bring out the Mustard...
ReplyDeleteGreg, havn't had pancakes here as of yet, but will do soon, and yeah Canadian vs US accent is easy to spot, we've been around that many americans the last 4 weeks.
Hi Mike,
ReplyDeleteLooks like your timing was good getting out of California - nothing but floods and mudslides over the past few days - our news is full of it! Nothing but rain here (no snow) with the forecast for a week of solid rain - one or two inches a day at least down here with a cyclone north of Cairns, They are tipping the wettest Christmas on record. Mum is making a baked ham on Christmas day with turkey and all the trimmings on Boxing Day when everyone will be here - hope you can give us a call that day, we'll be here from around noon our time. The pictures are great and thanks for the special ones for ma from the carrier - I can't wait until you get to the Smithsonian! Cheers and stay warm where you can! Love Dad and Mum
Well well well I do like the coat cuz! xo
