So after making pancakes for breakfast (free) we played two games of pool (free) then went for a walk from our hostel to fisherman's wharf (couldn't help think of you Luke) via Lombard St. We then went on to the ferry terminal i think and then back into Union Square. It was about 4 miles walk, which would usually be fine, but the hills...... my god the hills....
I have no words to describe this..... absolutely blew my mind, shame the photo sucks
Wow they have mirrors that are curved here!?? oh wait..
Streets and streets of awesome houses, all in the same style.
Steep street, the one before Lombard
What.. how do you take photos?
So i just got back from a night out, the second place we went i met a girl and guy... we got to talking and they picked that i was a creative type, most probably due to the leather jacket (yes i rocked it) and mustard skinny jeans which i was wearing. Turns out she was a creative director, and worked for which California based company??? .... APPLE!!! so either everyone in this town works for apple, or i got incredibly lucky!.. she asked if I had a portfolio, and when i had to say no because i didnt prepare one.. and i died a little bit inside... she asked if i had a website so i gave her sincro design address and my email.. so we'll see.. don't expect anything, but i really love this country...
Today i bought Levi jeans for $32.... i just had a small burger meal from Jack in the box which cost a grand total of 3.99 INCLUDING CURLY FRIES!!! and met a girl who worked for apple and had her interested enough to ask for my portfolio... i honestly think i achieved more in the last 24 hours here than 21 years at home.....
so to conclude.. i love this country.
ps.. i have given up proof reading these so im sorry.
Oh and mum + dad if u are even reading this feel free to leave a comment to say how much you miss me and its not the same without me there ect...
